poetry math

i have written two poems in the last two days.
poems per day (ppd): 1.00

i had written one poem in the previous three months.
ppd: 0.01

in 2006 i wrote about 250 poems.
ppd: 0.69

i’ve written around 30 so far in 2007 (january was nice to me). to match last year i’ll need to write 220 poems in the remaining 200 days of 2007.
ppd: 1.10

if i abandon my concerns for quality, i just might pull it off.
and no, i'm not a factory.
and yes, i would secretly like to be one.
