i recently found out that a friend from university and sometimes-HAPer, Asim Chaudhry, has been missing since late july - you can get more info here. i don't know how i was so out of the loop on this to have only heard about it now, but if it's news to you, too, please do your part and help spread the word.

Yeah, I just heard about Asim last week. I only met him once -- at one of the last open mics -- but we wrote a poem and performed it hip-hop style together, which was a lot of fun. Definitely weird to know that he's missing ...
